Principles of Operation
The system measures the can height and diameter acquiring big number of images during can rotation
Each acquired image, is processed according to sophisticated algorithms and height and diameters are continuously evaluated image by image
When the acquisition session is completed, the overall averages measures for both can height and diameter measures are evaluated and display

Measurement Logic
The applied logic of the measuring
algorithms are the same logic and rules
used by the classical ‘mechanical’
caliber.
On each image the height
corresponding to the 19 mm diameter
on the valve is evaluated using
automatic shape recognition and
sophisticated measuring procedure.
Each image provides two measure
related to the height values, one on
the left side and one on the right one,
and one measure for the diameter.
